Yesterday, this happened:
And ya know what? They’re right. We do live in a country where they can run their business however they would like, legally.
And ya know what else? Anyone has the right to disagree with them and find support elsewhere for their beliefs. And I think that’s the beautiful thing about America. Because so many people will support them elsewhere.
But really? I’m simply glad there is not a Chick-fil-A in Wisconsin because there is no room in this world for this kind of judgement on either side. Embrace who you are and let others live their life however they want to. Unless it is causing serious harm (ya know, Hitler, etc), agree to disagree and move on to issues you can actually make a difference with. Ya know, feeding the hungry, helping the economy, etc.
Do what you feel in your heart to be right- for you’ll be criticized anyway. You’ll be damned if you do, and damned if you don’t.
I don’t normally go political because people will be extreme in either direction and I don’t have much patience for people who can’t walk in other people’s shoes. If it got your panties in a bunch, come back tomorrow when I’ll talk about Operation Bridesmaid Dress: I don’t fit!
